The debate is whether this new show, debuting 08/10 is promoting "fat shaming" or "fat-phobia". I was happy to weigh in on this important topic.
One question that was asked: Do I believe the show can create self esteem issues and eating disorders in viewers? In short, it depends.
We must remember that nothing and no one can make us feel anything, unless we give that thing power in our own mind to hurt us. It's what we tell ourselves that tears us down, and that's when we give our power away!
